Düsseldorf’s Ständehaus houses the contemporary art from the state collection belonging to North Rhine-Westphalia. With its gorgeous park, it is without a doubt one of the most attractive locations for events in the Rhineland region. The incomparable ambience of the splendid architecture from the second half of the 19th century provides a unique setting for first-rate events with style.
The event space Piazza is located on the ground floor and, heading upwards, is confined solely by a gigantic glass dome. You can welcome your guests here in a stately atmosphere after the museum closes. Each year up to 120 events take place in the Piazza on 813 m²: gala events involving sit-down meals for up to 500 people, lectures, presentations, stand-up receptions for up to 600, as well as shootings for photos and commercials. The possibility also exists to conduct gala receptions, lectures and press conferences on an area of 1,700 m² directly underneath the glass dome. Space for up to 200 beneath the dome itself offers a majestic panoramic view across Düsseldorf.
