The former factory of Dr. Thompson, co-inventor of soap powder, is today one of the hotspots of the Düsseldorf event scene. Opened in 2011, on its 5th anniversary the former industrial site was given a major makeover. Now Dr. Thompson's on Erkrather street in the district of Flingern, receives its guests with a new interior design and a new concept. This implies that public events are limited to a few appointments per year and that operators focus on events and B2B events. In summer you can celebrate on the large green terrace, in winter you gather around the fireplace. The soap factory holds up to 700 people, and a kitchen team of 10 ensures that there are no culinary wishes left to be desired.
