Sir Walter

The grey eminence. Overlooking the Kunsthalle, the renowned Galerie Hans Mayer and the Deutsche Oper, the Sir Walter bar, which opened in 2016, enjoys the highest reputation in Düsseldorf's nightlife scene. Directors such as Lars von Trier and Peter Brook inspired the owner Walid El Sheikh to create a dramatically staged setting. 434 square metres, spread over several levels and bordered by night blue curtains, a 30 metre long bar - this is a compelling backdrop. On some days a part of the opera house orchestra comes for a live performance over the Heinrich-Heine-Allee. Up to 500 visitors can celebrate together in the Sir Walter - an option that the owner El Sheikh does not withhold from private individuals and companies: Just like the other locations of the restaurateur, the Elephant Bar and the Boston Bar, the Sir Walter can be rented for special events. It is a matter of honour to include event technology of the highest quality.
