> DoKomi – Europe’s largest Japanese pop culture convention, held annually at
the CCD, set a record of 186,500 visitors in 2024.
> Table Tennis World Championships 2017 – an international sporting event
with 55,000 visitors.
> IJT 2019 – International Youth Convention of the New Apostolic Church,
attracting 32,000 participants from around the world.
> Grand Départ – the start of the world-famous Tour de France, held in
Düsseldorf from June 29 to July 2, 2017.
> “Wetten, dass..?” – the iconic German TV show premiered at the CCD in
1981, and returned again in 2004.
> BAMBI Awards – the renowned German media and television award
ceremony took place at the CCD in 2007 and 2012.
> doTERRA Europe Convention 2019 – an international corporate event with
around 8,000 attendees.
In addition, Düsseldorf Congress regularly hosts prestigious scientific congresses and expert conferences, such as the 63rd Congress of the German Respiratory Society (DGP) in 2023, with 6,000 participants.
