Düsseldorf Convention awarded "Most Innovative Convention Bureau"
April 21, 2023Time to celebrate: Düsseldorf Convention has been named "Most Innovative Convention Bureau 2023", after having recievied the award in 2022 already.
The illustriuous UK industry magazine "LUXlife" anually awards Convention Bureaus for their innovative events, services for event planners and representation of their destination. In 2022, Düsseldorf Convention convinced with their own event formats, such as the "maximice THiNK TANK" as a hybrid event oder the "Düsseldorf associations day XL", which offered real value for the participants.
Joined with other companies and associations, the convention bureau participated in a sustainability project called "drawer heroes", in which old mobile devices are being collected. “It was important to
us that ‘drawer heroes’ works as a sustainable initiative here, where our
events also take place. We are pleased that many partners have joined
and are providing a sustainable impulse for companies and events”, says Jens Ihsen, Director of Düsseldorf Convention. With more than 80.000 sqm, the EUREF Campus, which is still under construction, is also a perfect example of what a future meeting space looks like.
