Mayor Dr. Stephan Keller becomes patron of AI Festival

The Navigator Festival, taking place for the second time on April 3 and 4, 2025, at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf, is supported by Mayor Dr. Stephan Keller as its patron. The festival is dedicated to the theme "Humans, Machines, Agents."

Dr. Keller highlights the significance of the event: "The Navigator Festival provides the ideal platform to unlock the potential of generative AI for businesses while also emphasizing social responsibility. Strong partners and renowned speakers

Among the festival’s partners are Stadtwerke Düsseldorf and the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). Stadtwerke Düsseldorf is supporting the keynote by Prof. Dr. Alena Buyx, Professor of Ethics in Medicine and Health Technology at Technical University of Munich, while the IHK is sponsoring the talk by Dr. Mario Herger, a trend researcher and technology expert based in Silicon Valley, USA.

Additionally, Jörg Bienert, a representative of the German AI Association (KI-Bundesverband), will discuss current developments in the field of artificial intelligence. Other notable speakers include Dr. Anna Zeiter from eBay and SPIEGEL bestselling author Silke Müller, who focuses on the impact of the AI revolution on education and learning.
 

Education and interactive formats

A key focus of the festival is education, particularly in the context of the AI Act. The diverse program features numerous parallel events, providing valuable insights into AI implementation across various industries. Attendees can also benefit from in-depth discussions and expert insights in the Microsoft Expert Lounge.

One of the accompanying formats is the Navigator #smartlab, which is designed for AI and digital innovation enthusiasts from Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. The next session will take place on March 13.
